Leonid Meteor Shower, November 22, 2001

I managed to capture just a few marginally successful shots of meteors during the shower. Any hill around any part of the Bay Area just gets so many people trying to get a better view of the sky, it's hard to find a place that is dark and stays dark, i.e. no headlights, flashlights, etc.

This would have been a cool picture if the camera hadn't been moved/bumped. A tree backlit by some red lights, no meteors

A 30 minute exposure of the sky. Orion's Belt can be seen as the three stars near the center
