I noticed this valley on the way back, approximately due west of Mammoth Ski resort. It looks as deep as Yosemite valley (about 50 miles to the Northwest). Perhaps it's Kings Canyon Natl'l park, but I think that is further south. I haven't been there so I don't know what the terrain looks like. |
